Meet the Herd

Gino

Gino

White Suri

Gino is an elegant and friendly alpaca. He likes to hang around with his mate, Loki, but doesn't mind a bit of human company too!

Daisy

Daisy

Jet Black Huacya

Daisy is a classic example of an animal that doesn't seem to know what animal it is. She's a carrot addict and absolutely loves being around people. Watch out - she may follow you around the farm!

Coco

Coco

Brown Huacaya

Coco is a very quiet and reserved member of the herd. She prefers to watch what's going on from the back of the group but once she gets confident she will come up to the front!

You can spot her by her brown fleece and cute velvety nose. She has the lighter fleece out of her friends Whiskey and Mocha.

Loki

Loki

White Suri

Loki is named after the god of mischief, and he certainly lives up to his name! He's a cheeky chap and loves company. He's also very handsome and oh boy, does he know it!

Whiskey

Whiskey

Brown Huacaya

Whiskey has clearly been watching Daisy have all the fun with carrots and has started to become addicted to them herself!

We often have difficulty telling her apart from her friend Mocha as they look very similar! However Mocha has a white spot on her back leg, while Whiskey has the softest and most velvety nose.

Vimto

Vimto

Jet Black Huacaya

Vimto is one of the leaders of the girls group, being one of the elders of the herd. She makes sure she gets her fair share of food and you will often find her with her head in a bucket.

Copper

Copper

Brown Huacaya

Copper is an amiable fellow and he prefers to let his friends take the lead most of the time. But when he is on his halter and lead and walking, he is the most elegant trekking alpaca in our herd.

Mocha

Mocha

Brown/White Huacaya

Mocha is a sweet and friendly girl who is often curious to understand what humans are doing on the farm.

Poppy

Poppy

Jet Black Huacaya

Poppy is a laid back girl with one major character flaw - she eats far too much and far too quickly, which means we have to be careful how much food we give her.

She sometimes gives an alarm call if she sees something she's not sure about. It can be quite loud!
